SIGMOD 2015 Call for Papers - Industrial Track
The Industrial Track of SIGMOD 2015 covers innovative commercial data management systems, solutions, and architectures, database implementations, novel applications of database technology, and experience in applying recent research advances to real-world problems.
We invite submissions in any of the following example areas and in other areas where data management is important:
- Data Mining and Text Analytics
- Application Areas (Government, Telcommunications, Smart Phones, Retail, ...)
- Big Data
- Cloud Data Services
- Enterprise Data Management
- Systems that Exploit New Hardware Trends
- Web Data Management, Social Media Applications
Submission Guidelines
We accept full papers (up to 12 pages) and extended abstracts (2-4 pages). We encourage submissions on innovative solutions and applications related to commercial or industrial-strength software.
The papers should be prepared using SIGMOD formatting instructions and must be submitted electronically, in pdf format, by December 1, 2014 11:59pm PST using the conference management tool accessible at: https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/SIGMOD2015/Default.aspx
Formatting: Papers must follow the ACM Proceedings Format, using one of the templates provided at http://www.acm.org/sigs/pubs/proceed/template.html for Word and LaTeX (version 2e). (For LaTeX, both Option 1 and Option 2 are acceptable.) The font size, margins, inter-column spacing, and line spacing in the templates must be kept unchanged.
Submissions to the industrial track are not double blind, and there is only one submission without author feedback or revision.
